| Music in Hospitals |
The Christmas Music Season 2007 presented by Arts in Trust brought festive cheer to Gloucestershire Royal, Cheltenham General and Delancey Hospitals, with over 30 musicians performing in 18 concerts at patients’ bedsides, and in public areas of the hospitals. “Spending Christmas in hospital can be a difficult time for patients and their families. We do our very best to make people’s experience as positive as possible, and events like the Christmas Music Season really do put smiles on faces.” Sister Andrea James, Cheltenham General Hospital |

| ArtLift |

The Art-Lift project responded to this evidence by bringing together artists with patients in 15 health care settings in Gloucestershire. An interim evaluation report has been prepared by Norma Daykin of the University of West of England. Click here for more information. And see BBC News 24 article |
